About Niv
I am a conservation communicator and researcher exploring the intersection of Indigenous knowledge, biodiversity conservation, and climate resilience.
My work focuses on translating traditional ecological wisdom into modern conversations about sustainability.
Through storytelling, workshops, and research, I aim to bridge the gap between ancient knowledge systems and contemporary environmental science.
My journey began:
When I realised that the solutions to the biodiversity crisis already exist within Indigenous knowledge systems?
This realization has since evolved into a broader mission:
to amplify Indigenous ecological wisdom and explore its relevance for modern conservation.
Recognition
My work has contributed to conversations on biodiversity and conservation and has been recognized at the IUCN Global Youth Summit.
Mission
To reconnect people with ecological wisdom that has sustained ecosystems for generations.
